From ‘man in a van’ start up business to Australia wide success story
Platinum Electricians was started by 22 year old Joshua Nicholls in 2001. With a dream to have a few employees, so he didn’t have to ‘work on the tools’, Platinum very quickly surpassed that goal and soon became one of Australia’s fastest growing start up companies. Fast forward to today and Platinum now has over 160 vans on the road Australia wide, employing over 350 staff. In 2019, Platinum Solar was added to the Platinum Group of companies to provide premium solar products combined with reliable and trustworthy service. What most excites the Platinum team however, is the humanitarian impact they have through their Platinum Foundation as the company continues to grow.
